Wombat Mobile Hoist

Haycomp Wombat Mobile Hoist

A mobile, steel framed, battery powered hoist with a tilting frame. A spreader bar is optional. It can be used to lift and transfer persons from a seated or lying position, or to and from the floor. It is available either as a fixed model that cannot be dismantled or as a model that dismantles into four sections for transportation. The hoist has a manually operated base adjustment. Size suitable for domestic use.

Frame
Epoxy coated, steel

Mast
Single, upright mast. The battery is attached to the lower half of the mast.

Base
U-shaped

Boom
Single with arced angle of lift

Castors
100mm, single and swivel. Rear castors have lockable brakes.

Attachment Points
Located at four positions on the tilting frame for keyhole fittings. Two attachments are located on the optional spreader bar for sling loops.

Controls
Hand held control with push button switches for the vertical movement. Opening of the legs of the base is manually operated with a foot operated lever.

Power Source
24 volt, rechargeable battery that is situated on the lower part of the mast. An audible warning signal is activated during use when the battery is reduced to 50% of capacity.

Battery Recharging
Separate recharger. The battery is removed from the mast and connected to the battery charger at a mains power point.

Portability
One model has a removable pin in the arm of the lifter. This enables the hoist to be dismantled into four components. The mast, boom and tilting frame detach from the base.

Safety Features
Include an automatic cut out switch in the event of the boom encountering any resistance and an emergency stop and lower button on the mast.

Slings
Cradle Full Support Sling:
* Divided leg sling with padded spinal support and keyhole fittings on the straps.
* Top of sling should be level with top of users head
* Tested to 200kg
* Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large (Colour coded)

Conventional GP slings:
* Fit standard yoke
* Available in polyester and mesh.

Option Details
The hoist can be supplied with quick release connections to allow easy disassembly for transport in a car.
