* It has a base frame which fits over the bath and a seating unit which rotates on the base. The two parts separate easily ? each part weighs about 3.2Kg.

* The grey handles of the base frame can be turned to increase or decrease the width of the base. This allows the base width to be varied from 660 ? 760mm to cover most bath sizes.

* Tubing is epoxy coated mild steel. All other metal components are stainless steel. In particular the critical turning components, the base plate and the swivel pin, are stainless steel and no servicing or lubrication is required.

* The seating unit has an easy to clean plastic seat with drainage holes sized for safety.

* The base frame has non-slip plastic ends which rest on the bath sides. Two positioning screws on either side also help to prevent movement.

* The locking lever is on the right hand side ? left hand locking is available.
