More Details

* The Myco Adjustable Width Swivel Bather has two parts: a base frame that rests on the bath and a seat unit that rotates on the base. The two parts separate easily for handling and storage. Each part weighs 3.2kg.

* The seating unit has a plastic seat which is easy to clean and drainage holes sized for safety. The base frame has plastic ends and positioning screws to prevent movement.

* The locking lever is located on the right hand side of the seat unit and locks in both the transfer and bathing positions. Seats with a left hand locking lever can be manufactured to order.

* Critical turning components (the base plate and swivel pin) are stainless steel on all models, which ensures long-term reliability without the need for servicing or lubrication.

* The base frame can easily be adjusted to fit a range of bath widths by turning the grey arm handles. It is suitable for occupational therapists to use for home assessments and also for equipment stores where one product will suit most bath widths.

* For the home user who uses the Swivel Bather when traveling ? the Myco Adjustable Width Swivel Bather will provide the adaptability required to fit other baths including most hotel baths.

* The gap between the seat and the bath edge can be reduced. The seat can be set closer to the front edge of the bath by shortening the arms resting on the front edge of the bath and lengthening the arms resting on the side nearest the wall.

Considerations

Bath Board Safety and Usage
* Ensure the adjustable brackets underneath the bath board are correctly adjusted to the width of the bath and secured in place before use.
