The AlbacMat is an evacuation mat consisting of a red nylon shroud bonded to a polycarbonate flexible board. The board allows the AlbacMat to glide over most types of surface including carpet, vinyl, concrete, bitumen and grass without building up heat. Two velcro straps restrain the patient while a foot pocket secures the feet. Various handles allow one person to safely evacuate patients from most hazardous situations. Available in two sizes.
A mains powered, electrically operated alternating air mattress replacement designed for pressure reduction in high and very high risk users or those with existing pressure ulcers up to stage four. A lateral rotation mode enables the user to be turned to varying degrees of side lying. It has a two way stretch, water resistant and vapour permeable (breathable) cover, which is removable. Available in single bed size only.
A rectangular cushion comprising a layered system of gel and viscoelastic foam. The manufacturer states that the pressure reducing properties of the Bari-Gel cushion will prevent and treat up to Stage II pressure ulcers. It is designed for people who are chair bound and weighing up to 385kg. Available in one size.
A large foam wedge for bariatric use. It assists larger people to maintain 30 degrees of lateral rotation when lying down. It consists of a visco elastic foam outer layer, a high density foam core and a slip resistant base. The cover is moisture proof. The convex surface resists collapse. One size is available for users 136kg to 285kg.
A EPC painted wire framed book stand. It has a clip for holding pages and a tray at the base for holding writing utensils.
A multipurpose device which opens aluminium can tabs, pressure sealed caps and resealable twist-off bottle caps. One size only.
