Australian Disability Enterprises are commercial businesses that provide supported employment to people with moderate to severe disability. Assistance is given to those who need substantial ongoing support to maintain their employment. Australian Disability Enterprises are funded by the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.
Disability Services Australia provides employment, accommodation, training, transition to work and day options services for people with a disability.
House with No Steps is a not-for-profit organisations, providing services and support to the disability sector in NSW, QLD and more recently in ACT. Their focus is on people?s abilities rather than their disabilities. They offer employment, education, training, accommodation and social connection programs to 3,300 people with a disability across 160 locations.
It provides vocational and pre-employment services for persons who are long term unemployed or have disability.
