Provides information and telephone counselling to glaucoma sufferers and/or family members, brochures in different languages available.
Guide Dogs NSW/ACT provides a range of mobility and orientation services to people with a vision impairment or low vision. Services are provided to people of all ages and all languages (interpreter services can be organised).
The Macular Degeneration Foundation is the peak body representing MD sufferers and their carers. The Foundation aims to promote awareness, prevention, intervention, education, research and support of MD.
Lionel Solomon is an optometrist and contact lens practitioner who will visit clients at their own home or in a nursing home in the Sydney metropolitan area.
Sydney Radio Station for people who are unable to read for various reasons. Operates 24 hours a day on AM bank 1224. Presents reading of current newspapers, magazines and books, and rebroadcasts the BBC world service.
