An organisation to promote the needs, rights and well being of Arabic speaking people with disabilities and their families. It is supported by May Murray Neighbourhood Centre, Child Care, Family & Community Services Co-op Ltd.
The Co-operative is driven by its commitment to Multiculturalism in Children's and Disability Services. In line with the Commonwealth Government's Access and Equity Policy, the Co-operative endeavours to ensure that Disability and Children's Services are equitable and accessible to all people living in our community.
This council provides an information, education advocacy and community development programmes to Ethic Communities and persons from non-English speaking background in NSW. Funding from HACC ensures that these programs are culturally acceptable and available to the target group, while Commonwealth Funding provides for Residential Care programs in Aged Care facilities.
Handital is the Association of Italian Families and Friends of People with a Disability. It is a non-government, non-profit voluntary organisation established in 1983 in order to assist and support people with disabilities and their carers.
An advocacy service for people of a non English speaking background who have a disability or care for a person who has a disability. Provides advocacy to improve access to services and inform service users of their rights and support available.
