Allowah Babies Hospital hold a monthly feeding clinic staffed by a specialist therapy and nursing team to provide advice on problems associated with feeding children with disabilities. Provide service for children from 0 -16 years. Short/long term respite care available.
A non profit, community organisation run by families, for all families who have a child with any type of disability.
Provides a range of information and support services relating to the special needs of children and adolescents in the hospital and health care.
This program provides a family centred service to families with children aged 0-18 years who have cerebral palsy or a similar disability. Information, support, therapy and educational programs are offered to promote the inclusion of children and their families within their communities.
The Child & Family Information - Referral Service provides information on services throughout NSW for children (0-13 years old), including after school care. This is a mainstream service for all parents, but they can assist parents of children with a disability looking for suitable child care. A database is also available for 18 yrs and over for info on activities.
The CSR & SP provides services to children with additional needs in the Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Ku-Ring-Gai, Lane Cove and Ryde Local Government areas. It is a Supplementary Services Program (SUPS) funded by The Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Services and sponsored by Hornsby Shire Council.
Contact Inc. is a program for isolated children and their families funded from a variety of sources including govt and philothropic sources.
ECIA is a volunteer run organisation of professionals and parents involved in promoting the interests of young children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families.
