A range of abdominal and chest supports made from elastic, usually with a velcro closure.
A special clasp which enables a ring to be opened, fitted around the finger and then locked shut, by passing the knuckle completely. The clasp may be fitted to old rings or built in to new rings. The clasp is secure, does not snag on clothes and does not stand out like a hinge.
A range of preformed elastic supporters and braces used to help prevent injury or re-injury of weakened areas of the body during physical activity. These include wrist, knee, ankle and elbow supports.
An adjustable lightweight hard shell helmet with a padded lining. It is ventilated for air circulation. It is fitted with an elastic adjustable chin strap. Available in small and medium sizes. It is not suitable for small children.
A range of clothing designed for adults and children with limited mobility. Designs include overlapping back and side openings. Fastenings include hook and loop, buttons or press studs. Back opening of day and nightwear assists in the management of incontinence and dresses with overlapped back enhance modesty when transferring.
Necklace and bracelet clasps can be modified for people who have difficulty putting on jewellery. Fob or magnetic clasps and the use of elastic may be helpful. A jeweller or other able person could attach the fasteners.
A range of clothing protectors made from towelling or flannelette. They feature velcro hook & loop or press stud fastenings or a hole for head (poncho). Available in two lengths.
