Weka is New Zealand's disability information web site, for people with disabilities, their families, contacts and caregivers, health professionals and disability information providers. Weka is an abbreviation of "what everybody keeps asking" about disability information.
The Welfare Rights Centre provides information and advice to anyone having problems with Centrelink. Days office available: Monday 9am - 5pm Tuesday 1pm - 5pm Wednesday 9am - 1pm Thursday 9am - 1pm Friday 9am - 1pm
Westhaven Industries is a supported employment service for people with special needs who require assistance in gaining and maintaining open employment. It is based in Dubbo and services the Central West, Orana and Far West Regions of NSW.
Wheelchair accessible cars can be hired on a short term basis. Various models are available.
Wheelchair cushions are available for hire on a short term basis. Various sizes and models are available.
The NSW Wheelchair Sports Association facilitates sporting activities for people with all disabilities. The Association also covers rural areas including Central Coast, Lismore, Dubbo, Armidale, Port Macquarie, Tamworth & Hunter Region.
Wincrew Services is a supported employment division of Windgap Foundation Limited. They provide community based supported employment opportunities for people with an intellectual disability. A major goal of the project is to establish a viable small business to support these people to live and work in the community.
A community based employment agency which provides assistance for people with a mental illness to obtain and maintain employment. The service is for people living in western Sydney and the Blue Mountains with offices in Parramatta, Penrith, Liverpool and Mt Druitt.
