The Evoluent Mouse has a patented shape that supports the hand in a relaxed handshake position. It eliminates the arm twisting required by ordinary mice. Right hand and left hand models are available.
This is a communication and control system for people with complex physical needs. The system is operated entirely with the eyes. By looking at control keys displayed on a screen, a person can synthesize speech, control the environment (lights, call bells, etc.), type, run computer software, operate a computer mouse, and access the Internet and e-mail.
Five Finger Typist is a computer software program which teaches single handed touch typing. A complete set of lesson is available for both the right and left hands.
This mouse is operated by the feet and comprises a "slipper" used by one foot for moving the curser and a pad of buttons used by the other foot to activate all other mouse functions, including a scroll bar, all mouse clicks and a double click button. The "slipper" features an optical sensor and moves in the same way as a hand mouse. A mouse pad is provided with the Foot Mouse.
This infrared receiver can be wired into mains powered devices (such as a door opener) so they can be operated by sending an infrared signal from an environmental control device such as the Gewa Prog III or the Sicare Light.
The Gewa Laser Pointer is specifically designed to be used as an accessing tool for communication. The laser emits a red point of light that is used to point at various objects in the surroundings such as text, symbols, pictures and real objects. It has a reduced output to decrease the likelihood of damaging another person's retina should it be inadvertently directed into the person's eyes
An adjustable split keyboard that can be adjusted in angle in both the vertical and horizontal planes. The keyboard can be used with a separate number pad, though one is also built into the keyboard. An ergonomic mouse, mouse pad and wrist rest are also available.
Green PC refurbishes used computers received from government and business organisations and makes them available, at a low cost, to those who might not usually be able to afford a new computer system. Green PC also offers computer systems and IT services at affordable rates to registered charities and community groups.
