Boardmaker is a software program for making therapy tools, communication displays and overlays for speech generating devices. The program contains over 4500 PCS symbols and versions are available for both Macintosh and PC computers. Black and white and colour symbols are included.
Bold black lines printed on white paper. Available in A4 and A5 size pads. Suitable for use with minimal visual impairment as a guide for writing in straight lines and also spacing.
A folding wire frame bookholder with an added bracket for large books and magazines. Has plastic covered feet. Folds flat when not in use.
A lightweight free standing book holder that adjusts to any surface and is suitable for use in bed, on a table or lap. It has a fabric cover with bean filling, is soft and pliable and can be shaped to hold the book. Designed specifically for standard novels but larger books and magazines can be accommodated. A page holder keeps the pages in position.
A EPC painted wire framed book stand. It has a clip for holding pages and a tray at the base for holding writing utensils.
This TTY is for people who are deaf and blind. It outputs conversations in Braille as well as on a standard TTY fluorescent display. It is available for renting under the Telstra Disability Equipment Program.
Adhesive plastic raised lumps available in 2 sizes. For applying to appliance controls, dials and keypads etc. to locate key by touch.
A baby monitor consists of a plug in transmitter (in the baby's room) and a receiver placed wherever the carer is in the home. As well as being used to monitor a baby in another room the monitors can be used to listen to a person who is "at risk" and / or who needs to communicate with a carer.
