Short Description
A pressure management air inflatable mattress overlay system designed for prevention and treatment of those at high risk of developing pressure sores. It consists of an electric pump, alternating air mattress pad and mattress cover. This system is for use on top of an existing mattress.

MATTRESS:
. 20 interconnecting air cells made from polyurethane.
. Air travels through the cells in 10 minute cycles varying the pressure in each cell.
. Takes 20 minutes to inflate
. The base has flaps at the head and the foot with elastic corner straps.
. Can be unplugged for transporting without deflating
. May be suitable for bariatric use up to the specified load capacity.
COVER:
. A multi stretch, waterproof and vapour permeable cover.
. Side zippers and velcro at each end of the cover allow for easy removal.
PUMP:
. Cycle time: 10 minutes.
. The pump allows for constant self adjustment of the mattress to accommodate the users posture. . 2 alarms - one indicates there is something wrong with the cells; the other indicates a power failure
. The air flow slows down and switches off when appropriate cell pressures are reached.
. Comfort levels can be altered by adjusting a knob on the pump. Has a digital display for soft, medium and firm.
* CPR release immediately deflates the mattress.
* Cells are individually replaceable.
