Short Description

A free standing rotating transfer aid with a foot operated lockable circular base and transport wheels. The vertical support bar is fitted with two adjustable height padded knee supports and an adjustable height tubular enclosed handle on top of the frame. The Disc facilitates standing and seat transfers. It is manually operated by an attendant.

Method Of Use

Place the Turner in front of the care recipient and ensure their feet are placed in the middle of the turning plate and that their knees are at the correct angle. The right height for the handle can be adjusted in one operation.

Take hold of the handle with both hands and tread on the turning plate. Gently put your weight behind the device and ask the care recipient to get up with the aid of the handle. Then pivot the disk.

Tread on the pedal, gently put your weight behind the device and ask the care recipient to sit down

. The Turner transfer Aid is used to transfer a person from one seated position to another when turning is difficult for them.
. Designed for relatively active care recipients. The Turner should only be used with persons who can adequately weight bear and stand with support. The care recipient controls how they stand up. This reduces the risk of falling, and it also allows the carer to work in an ergonomically correct manner. Only the height of the handle and the knee brace need adjusting.
. It works by counterbalance and leverage
. The castors will run smoothly on any surface and they make the Turner easy to bring or push out of the way when not in use. The Turner must not be used to transport a person.
. Folds by a knock down function which allows for easy transport and storage.
. Clean the product with a solvent free detergent which has a pH of 5-9, or with a 70% disinfectant solution. Can be decontaminated at max. 85 C if so required.
