Short Description
The T1000S is now Telstra's standard rental phone. This phone replaces the Touchfone 400. The new design T1000S has a number of features that make it easy to use for people with vision and hearing impairment as well as with impaired dexterity. It has new improved adjustable ring volume and new adjustable volume control features for incoming calls.
Options
A wall mounting bracket can be purchased separately from Telstra.

T1000S - Standard Rental Phone
T1000C - Calling Number Display Rental Phone - includes the same features as the T1000S with an additional Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) to indicate who is calling, It also includes a wall mounting bracket.
Additional charges apply to subscribe to the Calling Number Display feature.

Buttons
* Ringer and earpiece volume level up and down arrow buttons are located beside the memory storage buttons on top of the phone.
* Single buttons for Call Return, Call Forward, Call Waiting, 3 Way chat, Call Back, Redial, Store, Cancel (used to turn off phone features eg Call Waiting), Recall, Message Bank.
If this phone is rented from Telstra, the client can also request a General Purpose Alarm and / or a Visual Signal Alert. These must be specifically requested.
The General Purpose Alarm provides additional ring volume for people with a hearing impairment.
The Visual Signal Alert allows a hearing impaired or deaf user to see that the telephone is ringing.
