More Details
It either mulches or cuts the grass with two discharge modes. The cut grass can be directed back onto the grass via a rear discharge tray. The discharge flap helps the clippings to discharge to the rear of the mower and prevents clogging.
Alternatively, the cuttings are trapped in a rear catcher.
The cutting and mulching blades are interchangeable.
The cutting height can be adjusted to cut 25mm to 50mm length grass. The adjustment handle is located near the left rear wheel. It can be placed in one of six cutting positions.
The mower has a safety key / push button start. It is environmentally friendly with zero emissions. It has low noise and vibration and is virtually maintenance free.
The power source is two rechargeable sealed 12V DC 9Ah batteries. These batteries recharge over a 12 hour period (over night). They will hold a full charge for up to 3 months. A low battery warning light is located on the handle. It will also light up if the mower is being pushed too hard.
The trimmer edger can be attached to the front of the mower.
It has its own motor and draws its power from the mower battery. It operates in two positions. One position is for line cutting. The second position is for trimming edges.
Safety Features
. As a safety precaution the mower will not function unless black safety key is in place at the base of the push handle.
. The safety key with its in built circuit breaker should never be inserted during assembly, adjustments or cleaning.
Factors To Consider
. Changing from a catcher mower to a mulcher mower requires a spanner and removal of the blades.
. The cutting height adjustment requires some effort
. The handle may be too low for tall people
Maintenance
