It is advisable to book a WAT in advance rather than trying to hail one.
Most bookings are dispatched within 30 minutes. If the WAT has not arrived in 20 minutes of booking, a telephonist will call to update on the expected arrival time. If necessary the telephonist will call every 20 minutes until the vehicle arrives.
There are approx five different WAT vehicles in the fleet. This includes Maxi taxis and Maxi Cabs that are fully equipped to carry two wheelchair passengers.
