DIY Security Alarm (Wall Mount)
Passive Infra-red (PIR) alarm. Detection area has a scan angle of 110 degrees and a range of 10 metres (approx). Can be used as a portable alarm or be wall mounted for semi permanent surveillance. Simply arm and disarm by pressing a small infra red remote control unit, fitted with a key ring. (2 remotes supplied). Exit / Entry time delays (8 seconds) avoids false alarms. In built 105 dB siren alarm. Includes magnetic contact reed switch and wiring for door or window security. Takes 3 x AA size batteries (not included). Includes button cell batteries for transmitter ON/OFF switches. Can be powered using 240 volt plug-in adaptor (not included). Reset time- approx 1 minute.
AM115 Mini Window and Door Alarm
Self contained protection alarm, sounds when window or door is opened. . Ultra loud 130dB piezo alarm. Install with double sided self adhesive tape (included). Fits door frames, window frames or sliding doors. Slide switch to arm / disarm alarm. Batteries supplied.
AM360 DIY Security Alarm (Ceiling Mount)
provides permanent surveillance of any room. Easy operation with remote control ON/OFF switch with key ring attached. (2 remote controls supplied). Powered by 3 x C size batteries (not included). Infra-red remote controls requires 2 x 1.5 volt button cells (supplied).
AM471 Security Beam
Buzzer sounds when infra-red beam is broken. Range of 2-8 metres. Low voltage operation 9 volt. Adaptor plugs directly into regular household power point and reduces the voltage to a safe, low 9 volt.
AM490 Compact Entry Detector
Infra-red sensor technology. 10 metre range with 130 detection angle. Can be installed horizontally, vertically or placed on a desk or counter. Push button door bell can be connected (not supplied). Uses standard 9 volt battery (not supplied).
AM551 Wireless Movement Activated Sensor
Provides increased protection when used in conjunction with the Arlec Wireless Home Security Alarm System (AM500). Detects motion within an 8 metre radius of the sensor. Covers a wide area of up to 120. Requires 1 X 9 volt battery (not supplied). Red LED on the front of the unit lights when movement is detected. The main control panel is alerted which triggers the alarm.
AM552 Wireless Window / Door Sensor
Provides increased protection when used in conjunction with the Arlec AM500 Wireless Home Security Alarm System. A red LED on the front of the unit lights when movement is detected. The main control panel is alerted which triggers the alarm. Powered by 1 X 12 volt battery (supplied).
AM553 Compact Extension Siren
Sounds 110dB piezo siren. Accessory to the Arlec Wireless Home Security Alarms (AM500) and Home Security Alarm (AM400) as an outdoor siren.

* These detectors may also be used to alert carers of people who are inclined to wander because of dementia or other conditions
* The system is not selective and the sensor will be activated by anyone (or anything) who passes within range or who opens a door with a sensor attached
* Careful consideration should be given to where the units are positioned so that accidental activation is minimised
