Free float mechanism:
The seat and backrest move independently to provide maximum mobility. Separate controls enable either or both to be fixed or in a free float position. The pivot of the seat being near the centre of the seat enables the position of the users to maintain a relatively consistent relationship to their work surface with changes in position.
Seat:
Features contoured foam inserts which have been specially moulded to give maximum body contact. Precise implants of harder foam are positioned where needed to ensure maximum effectiveness of the contours.
Backrest:
Contoured and height adjustable for precise positioning of lumbar support. The pivot point is beneath the seat to enable the tilting backrest to remain in a similar orientation to the user's trunk.
Armrests:
These are optional and are positioned towards the back of the seat to allow the chair to be moved closer to the desk for maximum comfort. They are adjustable in height.
Adjustments:
Adjustment instructions are permanently attached under the seat.
The end "paddles" extend beyond the seat so they are clearly visible when looking down.
Backrest: Rear lever control on right side of seat for free float and angle adjustment.
Seat: Front lever control on right side of seat for free float and tilt adjustment.
Chair height adjustment: Lever control on left side of seat
Backrest height: Ratchet adjustment. Can be adjusted from a sitting position if the user is able to reach behind the chair.
The Agile chair does not require regular maintenance or upkeep. All parts are sealed or greased for life. The Gas Strut is sealed and should not be tampered with. The fabric on the Agile chair will have it's own fabric care label attached under the seat.
