The Activity Companion consists of a fabric folder with a range of tactile activities such as opening and closing pockets, doing up belts or buckles, closing zippers. It provides tactile calming activity for people with dementia.
Models
" Highlander" has strong vibrant tartan colours on khaki background. Suitable for male or female use
"Springtime" has soft pastel colours (feminine)
"My Horse" also designed for the visually impaired with many contrasting fabrics. Uses outdoor carpet for the head, hessian for the feed bag and satin winning ribbons.
The above designs come with their own carry bag.
"Rose Cottage" (four people can sit around it at a time)
. The aim is to recapture the feeling of companionship felt by loved ones when they would entertain family and friends by playing cards or board games around a table.

. This product has been designed with the assistance of nursing staff to provide a means of rehabilitation in domestic, hospital and nursing home environments. It has been found to have a relaxing and calming activity for people with a dementing illness who have restless and/or agitated behaviour.
. Each folder has hook & loop straps for fitting over a day or bed table. . . The Activity Companion can be personalised by placing personal belongings or photographs in the pockets.
