More Details
MATERIALS :
The bar is made from black oxidised heat treated steel. The jaws and handles are made from glass reinforced resin. The jaws have removable, soft rubber pads.
MODELS :
There are five sizes of jaw opening - 150mm, 305mm, 455mm, 610mm, 915mm.
METHOD OF USE :
Before clamping work, the jaw opening can be adjusted to the approximate opening by pulling on the release trigger and letting the jaw fall open by hanging it downwards. If it opens too far it can be closed to the required opening by pushing the adjustable jaw against a firm surface. To clamp the work the advance trigger is squeezed as much as it will go.
ACCESSORIES :
An accessory kit modifies the clamp so that it can be used to hold work in place when fastening 90 degree joints.
COMMENTS :
Jaw pressure is between 110-135 kg. This would also depend on strength of the user.
Note:
*Made of strong glass reinforced nylon.
*The clamp uses a pistol grip trigger action to close the jaws of the clamp tightly.
*It can be operated by one hand, while the other hand is free to support or hold the objects being clamped.
