The Amputee Association of Sydney Inc. is a non profit mutual support organisation for people who have lost (or who were born without) limbs. They aim to promote, assist and carry out projects of benefit to amputees.

. The Association provides an essential visiting service to new amputees and preparing for operation, at home and hospitals. An amputee of the same age, gender and limb loss can provide encouragement and support at that crucial time immediately following amputation.
. They produce a quarterly journal. Membership is $15 annually. Health professionals are asked to pay $25.
