Taxi Telephone Programming Service
Overview
Short Description
A free service called "Easy Cab" provided by Taxis Combined Services which allows a memory number on a Telstra T200 or Commander system or compatible telephone be programmed to enable a taxi to be called to your address by pressing one button. Information is immediately relayed to the taxi company's computer without talking or waiting. The taxi will be despatched automatically.

- Any special requirements that the driver needs to know about an
individual's specific needs will be communicated to the driver.
- It is only available from telephone exchanges with direct dialling.
Telstra can change the phone number to accommodate this.
- Used by M40 passengers: People with disability who can transfer from a wheelchair or are visually impaired.
To arrange:
- Contact Taxis Combined by phone - they will programme the number of the computer and special PIN number into the client's telephone. At least one day's notice is required.
- It is not suitable for M50 passengers who need a wheelchair accessible taxi.
