Short Description
A range of hydraulically powered one piece platform, internal hoists, designed to lift a person seated in a manual wheelchair or powered wheelchair or scooter into and out of a van or bus. Mounts to the side or rear of a van. Two models available.

Model L955U314652 - Full size van with 1350mm high raised doors.
Model L955U315056 - Full size van with 1425mm high raised doors.
Options
An optional threshold warning kit is available. When the lift is below vehicle floor level, an audible signal will warn passengers as they approach the open lift doorway.
More Details
The wheelchair lifts are constructed of powder coated aluminium frame with a mesh lifting platform. The lift has a powered raise / lower and folding / unfolding which can be operated by the occupant or attendant. The lift is powered via the vehicle's battery. In case of power failure the lift features a manually operated lever handle that can raise / lower the lifting platform.
The lifting platform folds up inside the side or rear door whilst travelling.
Features
Controller - the control station switch panel has wide paddle type rocker switches which are colour coded and labelled with their performed function. The lift is also equipped for operation by the wheelchair occupant and features a plug in wiring harness to accommodate automatic door operators, remote, third station, or a hand held controls.
Door Operators available to automatically open the vehicle doors to allow for use of the lift. Models available to suit side double doors, rear double doors and sliding doors. Structural modification may be required for some vehicles to fit the door operators.
Safety Features - the lift has an automatic roll stop which activates prior to lifting the platform.
Installation
An approved wheelchair and occupant restraint must be installed when transporting a person in a wheelchair.
Installation Variations
Flat Floor Application - standard model.
Stepwell Application - a conversion of the flat floor application when the lift is installed into a step well on a vehicle. This provides a longer platform length in comparison to the standard model.
