Ricon manufactures a full range of automatic wheelchair hoists for lifting a person in a wheelchair in and out of a van or bus. All lifts can be installed either internally or externally under the floor of the vehicle. Depending on the layout of the van the lift can be fitted at the side or rear.

More Details

ALL MODELS HAVE THE FOLLOWING FEATURES
. Powered by a 65 amp 12 / 24 volt DC motor with a manual back up system.
. Hydraulic pump is operated electrically to raise the lift and a gravity flow control valve lowers the lift.
. Forward and rear roll stops prevent the wheelchair rolling off the platform
. The rear roll stop is spring loaded and automatically lowers to form a ramped entry / exit to the lifts platform
. The lift has a slow folding function top allow people inside the van to clear space for the platform.
. Handrails on both sides of platform for extra comfort and security.
. As a safety feature, Microsensors prevent the platform from folding away if a weight greater than 20 kg is on the platform
. Operated by handheld remote with the option of operating via a cordless remote control.
