Short Description

Steel framed mobile chairs and beds with four air filled cushions which cover the complete seating surface from the top of the headrest to the end of the legrest. They have adjustable headrests, seats (infinite locking) and legrests. The backrest on the bed models reclines to a sleeping position. The Air Tilt is the larger model. The Princess is narrower and is also available in a childrens model.

Air Tilt models
for people over 167cm tall
1) Air Tilt Chair, vinyl (LATC - Light Air Tilt Chair)
2) Air Tilt Bed, vinyl (LATB - Light Air Tilt Bed)

Princess models - narrower than Air Tilt model. These models have side wings and are suitable for people up to 167cm tall.
1) Princess Air Chair, vinyl (LAPC - Light Air Princess Chair) - tilt in space and backrest recline (does not recline to full sleeping position)
2) Princess Air Bed, vinyl (LAPB - Light Air Princess Bed) - fully reclines to sleeping position
Princess Paediatric Bed - suitable for children or very small adults. Comes with a lap strap

More Details

The Air Chairs have a chromed tubular steel framework and frame covers are available which cover the frame if required. The backrest can be reclined by the gas lift operation which is positioned on the push handles at the rear of the chair. The armrests are fixed in their position, however the leg rest is able to be adjusted with the gas lift mechanism. There is also a removable head rest.

FRAME: Steel
UPHOLSTERY: The Air Chair is covered in a Synergy fabric as standard. This fabric has three way stretch and is breathable and fluid resistant. The chair is able to be covered in vinyl fabric as an option.
TILT: Gas tilt mechanism. Squeeze lever under rear push handle to
operate back tilt
LEG ADJUST: Gas spring mechanism
CASTORS: Four lockable castors 150mm diameter
AIRCOMFORT SEATING SYSTEM: Designed to provide pressure relief. It consists of air cushions on soft foam to support the upper body; and on firm foam in the seat area.
