Sifting is a process that many of us avoid for one reason or another. For those persons to whom the sifting process is essential, there are sifters on the market which may make it easier.
. Points to consider when buying a sifter :
* The various types available ie. shake action, squeeze handle, winding handle, battery operated.
* Ease of use.
* ease of cleaning.
* durability.
* ease of changing battery.
. Suggestions for those who experience pain, weakness or stiffness of hands :
* Squeeze sifters may be difficult to manipulate.
* All sifters, except the winding handle type, are designed to be used one handed.
