We provide information and advice to people about assistive technology solutions for independent living.
We are a recognised leader in the field of assistive technology and accessible built environments. We provide expertise through consultation, training and publications.
We are a registered training organisation providing VETAB approved, competency-based training for allied health and built environment professionals.
We conduct group tours at our display centre and give community talks to spread awareness about Assistive Technology and its role in aiding independent living.

NDIS have translated the brochure My NDIS Pathway into ten languages other than English, available for download from their website.
Other languages will be gradually added to the download area as they become available. If you need help contacting the NDIS, please call the Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450.

In 2016, Speech Pathology Week is 7-13 August.
Communication is a basic human right and Speech Pathology Week seeks to promote the speech pathology profession and the work done by speech pathologist for more than 1.1 million Australians who have a communication or swallowing disorder that impacts on their daily life.

The Independent Living Centre NSW, in collaboration with the Telstra Foundation, is presenting a Mini-expo for people with complex communication needs (CCN).
The cost is FREE for people with CCN and one family member/ unpaid carer. Others (e.g. therapists, teachers, paid carers) are welcome to attend at a cost of $25pp.

This is a new course offered by the Independent Living Centre NSW. It is the first course of its kind to present the latest technology available to assist a person living with tremors. Designed for people with tremors, carers, and professionals, this hands-on and interactive course will allow you to explore and trial different equipment or strategies.
